My notes indicate that you are to send me letters from Harvard and Beth Israel stating that all matters related to the payment of overhead, indirect costs and the like have been resolved and that no requests for such funds will be made. The letters should also set out that direct costs do not include heat, light, power, housekeeping, maintenance, general adminis- tration, personnel services, unemployment compensation and other miscellaneous costs. These are the words of Mr. Uris in his memorandum of November 5, 1976, to Dr. Huber (included in~my November 8 mailing to you).
