t Iowa Supreme Court ruled today.
The court ruled in favor ot United Air-
lines and rejected a lawsuit f iled by a doa
tor who contended that he had been

"United has an obligation to preserve
the comfort of its smok ng passengers as
well as of the nonsmokers," Justice War-
ren Rees wrote in the court's majority

orneys for the eirline contended that
United had reasonably complied with the
request of Dr. Mark D. Ravreby of Des
Moines to be seated in a nonsmoking sec-
tion in a flight to Reno in Jpl 1977.
