RE: Conclusion of McAward Case in East Boston District
Court Involving a Non-Smoking Passenger on Board
American Airlines Flight, Boston Logan Airport,
May 15, 1978
The attached memorandum from Dennis Dyer, Public Affairs
Manager for the Northeast Area, reports on the conclusion of the
McAward case in East Boston District Court.
Mr. McAward was convicted of obstructing a flight crew
and fined $250.
Mr. McAward and his attorney indicated that they would
appeal the decision of the Court. The appeal will be taken up
in Suffolk County Superior Court at a date to be announced later.
We will keep you apprised of the appeal proceedings.
