I just received the attached letter from Amnon
Birenzvige, a member of ASHRAE's TC 2.3 Comiittee,
suggestiag that our committee collaborate with ASHRAE
in putting on the above referenced symposium scheduled
for January 24-28, 2982.
I think this would be amexcellent opportunity for
us, even to the extent of showing the symposium as being
jointly sponsored by the two committees - assuming ASHRAE
TC 2.3 would be agreeable to this arrangement. I wouId
further like to suggest that Jim Repaee be noau:nated to
represent TT-7 in this effort based on his intimat- kn-,

ledge of the effects of smoking on indoor air u it .
you have any prob etes wrt our involvement in this
effort, please let me hear from you by March 27. If I
do not hear from you by this date, I will assume you
agree with this course of action.
