Thank you for your letter regarding conflicting scheduling
of ASHRAE'and APCA meetings. As you are probably aware,
this is another in a series of competitions for APCA but
one about which perhaps something can be done. I am
transmitting copies of your letter to Gil Hamlin and Bob
Eisenbachlin order that this subject be placed before the
Board. In order for our discussions to be meaningful, I
would appreciate it if you could get to Gil, Bob, and
myself a list of ASHRAE's meeting schedule as far in advance
as possible. Also regarding yoursuggestion to discuss with
ASHRAE the possibility of their conducting their technical
sessions and committee meetings covering air pollution
at their winter meeting, the results of any dialog you
may have with them. I don't believe it is necessary for
the request to come from the APCA Board. You as an
affected committee chairman~can do the j,ob.
I agree that cooperation between professionall societies
is necessary and', as you know, TC is fostering as much
interaction as possible. Anything you~do to assist this
task is appreciated.

Bob Eisenbach,
Tony Buonicore
