SERVICE REPORT ~ September 15, 1570 After many meetings (three) with Mr. Joe Kilian, a-creative platform waz agr3ed upon for "Homerun For The Money". We were instructed to develop a three-pha se campaign consisting o: "teaser ads",''Announcement ads "', and 'lduring season ad=-''. We worked on this campaign for two weeks and submitted same .... to . Kilian. After reviewing our efforts, I: ilian felt that we did' not really "detail" the rules (game) correctly. We were advised' to make up a new series of ads that would' corr ect this situation. We submitted a "nuts and bolts" type campaign, as per client _ instruction. . We were told that -this new approach ( dictated _by client) _ was,.ziot "creative" -enough. Client felt,.'that.'more •"excitemeiit't -cotild--:. _:: be built. into each ad. Note: Agency 'also submitted.-complete media '-. plan. As per client request, a full page ad was type -set. (with many headlines) Presently, we are developing a third campaign. This campaign will trade heavily on first recommendations: provocative teasers, ' catchy (no pun intended) double truck announcement ads, and full page. entry blank (sustaining ads) billboard. - All three campaigns included copy approaches and tight comps. At the present time, we have submitted' over thirty ads. NOTE: The "rules" for Homerun For The Money have been changed on the first two submissions. This necessitated over ei -hours of client-agency meetings. As of this date, the agency has invested over two hundred and forty man hours in the development of the above listed efforts. Currently outside costs incurred are $601.62. Special Kent Promotions: Another major assignment undertaken, was the development of thirty major sales promotion efforts. Mr. Cuberman instructed rm-A to conceive these promotional programs and discuss sa:n e with hirn at a later d'ate. We have a finger nail sketch of each pro..otir.::, and will extract six ( if possible ) for test market studies.
