Andervont who for many years, not all consecutioe, was a member of the Scientific Advisory Board has retired because his "eyes have reached the stage where it is a handicao to read." In his letter of resignation, Dr. Andervont says that after serving upon various boardkwhose purpose was to encouraqe research on disease he found that the Scientific hdvisory Board was the most congenial and most objective and that is why he remained a member for at least three years after leaving all other boards since his retirement in 1968.
