NOTED PATHOLOGIST JOINS
SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY BOARD
New York -- Dr. Joseph D. Feldman, a noted pathologist
who is Head of the Department of Immunopathology at the
Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in La Jolla, Cal.,
has joined the Scientific Advisory Board to The Council_
for Tobacco Research-U.S.A., Inc.
The Board now consists of 10 physicians and scientists
who meet regularly to discuss and review applications from
independent investigators for research support from The
Council into questions related to smoking and health. -
A recognized authority also in the fields of immunology,.
immunopathology and cytology, Dr. Feldman is editor-in-chief
of the Journal of Immunology. He is an Adjunct Professor of
Pathology at the University of California School of Medicine,
San Diego.
