I believe that government has to care about the real needs of people - and then effectively see they get the help they need - without wasting the taxpayers' money. Also, I believe that the laws we pass should be enforced - for everybody equally. That's why I ask you,to join me in voting no on the public policy questionn on,public smoking on your b.allo.t.: I''veenclosed a copy of some remarks made by law enforcement leaders across.the.country about public smoking bans in their own areas. Measures like this proposal could cost millions of dollars - and l!aww enforcement agencies wouldn't be able to enforce them unless they stop fighting serious crime.
