SAMPLE LETTER
Dear
I urgently request your personal attention to and
consideration of the serious problems which would be
caused by the implementation of regulations recently
passed by the Westchester County Board of Health concerning
the restriction of smoking in certain public places.
I believe that the proposed restrictions imposet
upon the freedom of choice of the people of Westchester

County and h a dictatorial restriction which will significantly
adversely affect not only that freedom but also the economy
of the county. Further, I believe that such serious matters
are exclusively within`zthe province of the Board of Legislators and

I request your leadership in the invalidation of these
regulations.
