Our contribution for participation in this project will be $25,000. It is under-
stood that there is no obligation whatsoever for any subsequent contributions.
The Lorillard ?dill distinctl,y and visually establishes the record of our Compar>ry
as the oldest tobacco manufacturer in the United States. The conservation of
the Mill as a place for public relaxation will impress its identity on the
visiting public in the New York Botanical Gardens. The number of visitors on
xeekends and holidays last year totaled lp250,000.
In the opinion of the Sales Division, this project presents a high level public
relations opportunity for the Lorillard Comparq. It,is therefore recomnended
that we contribute the sum of $25#000 as our share in this project.
