A third wave KGL National AAU study will be conducted during the week of
8/8/77. Watts line interviews will be completed with a total of 1000
randomly selected smokers. Respondents will be 21 years of age or older
who smoke at least 10 cigarettes per day. Interviewing will be completed
on or about 8/15/77 to insure that at the same time a pre-Kent Micr. II
advertising benchmark phase can be included in this study.
:cy Criteria For Analysis
ob,jectives of this research center around the following areas for KGL 85's & 100's'
to ascertain brand and ad awareness, trial and usage levels; (2) determine imagery;
(3) aid in determining the sources of business and, to a lesser extent,to get some addi-
tional insight regarding the effect of KGL on Kent imagery & possible confusion between the
2 brands. Additionally, the following Kent info areas will be obtained: (1) brand & ad aware-
