N=120-non-menthol filter smokers of h pack or more per day between the ages of 21
and 55.years old. There will be four cells of 180 each (for 150 completions) to
evaluate each of the alternatives - 85mm soft pack, 85mm box, 100mm soft pack and
100mm box. Every cell will be h male/h female and Z 21 to 35 and Z 36 to 55 years
old.
Screening and concept evaluation will be via shopping center intercept in the
cities of Long Island, Milwaukee, Denver, Cincinnati and San Diego.
Four packs of product with instructions-and a concept description will be mailed
to respondents for their use from the Data Development offices in N.Y.C.
A telephone callback via a supervised central location wats line facility in N.Y.
will be made soon after for product usage information. Please see attached
for more detail.
Criteria For Analysis
Trial interest before and after product usage plus overall monac(ic rating and
diagnostics on product, length, width, packing, burn rate, economy, etc.
