TIT1.1: Recall Test JOB # 5544/277 Research Design (N, Cells, Elegibility, DesiCn, Key Banner Breaks, Methodology, Cities) Two Old Gold Lights ads will be evaluated in a portfolio of 21 ads, including three cigarette ads (1 Old Gold Lights ad, a Luke ad and 1 other Lorillard ad). A total of 500 random cigarette smokers (250 in each of two cells) will be inter- viewed in a hi-traffic central location site in 4-6 markets. We project that we will have a total of 188 non-menthol smokers within each cell. The number of non-menthol smokers in each cell will be boosted (by 62) to a total of 250. Additionally the sample will be half male/half female and half 21-31+/half 35-50 years of age. Areas of questionning will encompass unaided awareness, elements recalled and communication diagnostics.
