The sample will be selected by a random technique from local telephone directories in the:"-
areas of the Albany and Grand Rapids Divisions based on the proportions of population
in these counties. (see 'attached breakdown).

All telephoning will be done from a supervised wats line facility in N.Y'.C,.."The first
wave wiTl be conducted 8 weeks after the initial advertising.and the second wave will_be '
done 16 weeks after. , ~
Key Criteria For Analysis :
The viability of national expansion for Newport Lights will be evalua`ted.in terms of.
