Comment: Increased number of infarcts noted in Group 67'(PMO) dogs and a greater number of lobes involved. of the cigarettes is higher. " Likewise, there is a trend to greater numbers of dogs with increased degrees of fibrosis and emphysema in the groups as the nicotine content With the exception of the unusual number of infarcts among the Group 67 (PMO) dogs and the dogs smoking high nicotine cigarettes (Group 32 (HN), the changes noted above have been far less than was noted among dogs who smoked in our previous study groups.
