At the time of his death the dog ha6 smoked forll:3 days with a total of 1140 ciioarettes smolced. The smoking began on /;pr; 1~', 1977. He smoked untiilr October 18, 1977. This is another dog in the PMO'series with thrombosis of the right auricular appendage and~emboli to branches of the pulmonary arteries and arterioles ti•rilth resulting infarction, secondary pneumonia and death. gSUP.
