Thtq iG a dog in the Enviro Control series. The dog is from Group 67 (PMO). The dog
had smoke'd for a period of 717 days and consummed 8,144 cigarettes. The dog was killedI
at the end of this period of time. The findings are those which we have seen in previous
dogs in this series. The presence of a pulmonary embolus with showering of emboli ..
branches of the arteries and arterioles to the lungs. Subsequent to this there were in-
farcts which developed in the lungs. The infarcts were of recent origin. The acute
bronchitis and recent bronchopneumonia frequently developed around the recent infarcts.
