The election of "Miss Smoke Flower" was very successful and created
extensive press coverage. The winner was she who had puffed the most
beautiful smoke rings in the form of a flower.
A photocopy of a press report about the event is attached. It draws
a~tention ~o the divisive aims of the anti-smoking movement in a world
where the need to unite communities is widely recognised. It is interesting,
therefore, to note the use of the word "racism" in the context of anti-smoking
campaigns. ;
