During the past f ev months out regulatory and scientiiic divisions have been investigating this problem from ®any aspects. Since our telephone conversation definite action has been initiated. We are basing our action on a new drug charge primarily. Through consultation with experts, we have reached the conclusion that there is a real question of safety involved with this drug if used as labeled. We ue also charging that fhe labeling for this product is false and misleading. The report of the Connecticut group, ae well as similar opinions of other groups and individuals throughout the country are in agreement with this decision. Permit ue to re-express our appreciation.
