Second Renewal Application No. 1085R2 "The Relations between Smoking Motives, Personality and Well-Being" HISTORY In March 1976 the SAB approved a three year project (Grant No. 1085). Dr. Costa works in close collaboration with the Normative Aging Study (Boston), and this project involves the employment of the Normative Aging Study data systems and lifetime participants in the study. Application No. 1085 was funded at a level of $42,228 (as requested) for the first year of a three year project. Estimates for the second and third years.... $42,610 and $46,750, respectively. The second year of the project (Grant No. 1085R1) was funded at $42,606 (as requested). REQUEST Application No. 1085R2 (third year of the program) requests $51,192.
