At that time Dz. Fishman Vas Program Director, Tufts Cancer Research Center, Boston. In March 1976 the SAB approved the third year (May 1, 1976 through April 30, 1977) of the ~rojcct (Grant 935M2). As of August 1976 Dr. Fishman was on leave from Tufts University in order to establish the La Jolla Cancer Research Foundation. A time extension for Grant 935N&t2 to June 30, 1977, without additional funding, was requested by Dr. Fishman and approved by CTR. , In March 1977 the SAB considered a three year request entitled "Marker Profile in Bropchial Mucosa and Neo~lasms of Smokers and non-smokers" (Applica- tion No. 935A), ihich wns approved or one year at a level of $57,126 (as requested). REQUEST Continuation Application No. 935B requested $65,086 for the first year of a three year project: Estimates for the second and third years are $67,155 and $73,652, reapectively.
