Conti:duation application No. 1014B "Human Hypersensitivity to Antigens from Tobacco" HISTORY In March 1975 the SAB approved a one year request ($8,345) for the scndy entitlei3 "Hypersensitivity to Antigens from Tobacco as a Factor in the Pathogenesis of Chronic Bronchitis". In order to further study the initial negative results application was made (Application No. ].a14A) for a second one year investigation to attempt to detect antigens in tobacco leaf. Grant No. 1014A at a level of $24,910 was awarded by the SAB in Sept./Oct. 1g76. This was a one year request on the understanding that Gleich would make a further request if a longer period was required. Grant No. 1014AR1, in the amoimt of $33,375 was awarded by the SAB in October 1977 for a further year of support.
