Dear Mr. Edell:

This is in response to your September 12, 1986
With respect to your request to meet with Dr. Sommers
prior to your taking his deposition which is scheduled for
the beginning of October, this will confirm that I advised
you that such a meeting would not be acceptable.
With respect to other statements in your letter
regarding telephone calls, etc., I do not agree with the tone
or content of many of those statements but I believe it would
serve no useful purpose to debate them.
