They have currently. available an enrollment of 853 students. These students are all "problem" children with defects of personala.ty--social maladjustment *Yiak and in most cases without organic disease. The other common denominator in this population is the unlimited financial support of their families. In many instances, their expenses for counseling, psychiatric care in addition to any exista.r;t physical defect incurs financial liability fromm three to six thousand dollars annually. These children range from 7-18 years in age. These youngsters are completely studied and their records unusually complete and with complete staff freedom to initiate or conduct individual or collective studies. Dr. Weller has played with a few ideas--e.g. it is known that about 50t, of this population smoke cigarettes. The blood choles- terols are not affected by smoking in the first hundred studied. Dr. Weller suggested it might be interesting to do triglyceride studa.es. In any event, it might be useful to be aware to this group to which we have access. J.
