As you can see, the picture changes somewhat . I am working on alternate ways, keeping in mind that we cannot deviate much from previous publications, without penalizing credibility . I enclose the Science paper of 1976, the last reference of which gives a formula for determining % plasma COHb, based on daily consumption and yield of CO per cigarette . Since nicotine has a half life of some 30 minutes, I am trying to see whether a cumulation algorithm for nicotine might give results in a desirable direction .
