[Duffin Instructs Publisher on Spanish Translation of Youth Program]
Abstract
Memo from Anne H. Duffin, Tobacco Institute, to Acey Girolamo, publisher of Spanish Translation of "Helping Youth Decide." Informs Girolamo that according to NASBE this translation of the bulletin is perfect and he may begin typesetting and art work. Advises to do nothing immediately with the title as it is not a literal translation and has not yet been approved. Includes handwritten question from "A" to "Pete" about additional clearance other than counsel.

We finally have a manuscript for the Spanish language
edition of "Helping Youth Decide" that we are assured by
NASBE is "perfect."
I have my doubts already about some.wording on page 2,
the only place TI is mentioned. I shall check on any
necessary changes, but think in the meantime we had best
get started on typesetting. We've already lost two
weeks because of late manuscript delivery by NASBE and
the ads begin in Spanish newspapers in less than two
weeks.
On the cover, I suggest doing nothing immediately with
the title as i~ not a liberal translation, but "Deciding
Together." I shall have to get official approval of the
change and will get back to you soonest.
You certainly can proceed with artwork and in estimating
length and whether additional page must be pl~nned. I
can't afford any more photography. We must make do with
what we have, please.
