Re:
Dr. Carl Seltzer
Gentlemen:
I am enclosing herewith a memorandum outlin-
ing a special project for Dr. Carl Seltzer, together
with a proposed budget. Dr. Seltzer will be collabora-
ting with Dr. Bea van den Berg, who has agreed to make
her data available for this research. Dr. Alvan Fein-
stein will also provide assistance to this project. Dr.
Seltzer expects to complete this research in about one
year at a cost of $56,000.
I have discussed this project with Dr. Gardner,
as well as Pat Sirridge of the Shook, Hardy & Bacon firm,
and both agree that this project should be approved.
I recommend the approval of this project and
would appreciate hearing from you at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Timothy M. Finnegan
