During our discussion on July 8, you requested our opinion
on the above-mentioned subject. I believe that the industry
should fund this work, since the development of antibodies
could lead to a radio immunoassay of lecitihin cholesterol
acyltransferase which would be useful in studying the
pathogenesis of atherosclerosis.
I have. attached some of the publications by Dr. Soloff
which certainly support the claim: to high quality work.
