Dear Arthur:
To confirm our telephone conversation of a few
moments ago, I had, earlier today, written and mailed to you
a letter answering your inqu~rya~d that of Dr. Spears sent
to me with your letter of January 20, 1976. I had understood!
our telephone conversation of January 15 to indicate that
you had approved this Special Project but wanted to have
the additional information in regard to computer time for
your files. Accordingly, I have advised Dr. Hickey that the
project has been approved! and the appropriate materials have
been forwarded to CTR to establish this Special Project.
In accordance with your request, I am sending to
Dr. Spears a copy of this letter and my previous letter today
addressed to you.
