Enclosed is the latest draft of the proposed
news release of The Council for Tobacco Research about
which we have had previous discussions. In view of the trial
of the Weaver case involving American Tobacco now in progress
it is thought-advisable to postpone issuance of the release
until after the trial has been completed.
Please let me know promptly whether you think
the release should be issued or whether you have any
objections to issuance of any statements in the release.
In order that there may be no misunderstanding I would
appreciate hea=ing from each of you.
