I have confirmed that Dr. Soloff does have a capable
enzyme chemist. His name is Andras Lacko.
I have talked with Dr. Hockett and Dr. Hockett does
not believe there is a problem with respect to Soloff's report-
~ing on his proj,ects since he generally obtains early publication
of his work. I am, however, through another source, making
further inquiry with respect to this matter of reports. Perhaps
Dr. Spears, to whom a copy of this letter is going, has some
specific problem in mind which we should try to obviate.
