Clinical studies to be conducted by Langston
and othems to show that duration and amount
of smoking have no relation to the age of
peak inc~Jence of lung cancer.

Conduct a study to compare the age of peak
incidence of lung cancer in different
geographical areas. Endeavor to tie this
information to the oeak age of starting
smoking, if possib]~, and also to the
average age at death in the particular
aroa.
