Re: Perry/Sterling Proposal
I enclose a proposed modified second-year budget for
the Perry/Sterling environmental study about which I wrote you
on August 24, 1978, and October 3, 1978. The project was
approved for a two-year period and the enclosure relates to
expenditures for the second year. I have discussed the request
for additional funds with Dr. Theodor Sterling and recommend
that the modified budget be approved. The requested increase
amounts to $3.7,634 and represents primarily an increase in
direct cost salaries.
The project is reportedly going well and Dr. Sterling
believes the findings will make a s~gn~flcant contribution to
our knowledge about occupational risks.
